Achieve a smooth surface on precision electronic parts, with 3M™ Lapping Film 265X. Our films are made up of aluminium oxide mineral coated on 3 mil polyester film. They are PSA backed, with a softer resin system than our 265X lapping sheets. Apply for polishing fibre optics and precision lapping operations.

Apply 3M™ Lapping Film 265X to precision electronic parts for a smooth, uniform finish. Our lapping film sheets are perfect for polishing fibre optics as well as precision lapping operations. They are made up of precisely graded aluminium oxide particles coated on a 3mil polyester film, with a PSA backing and softer resin than our 265X lapping sheets. The tight particle distribution offers a more consistent cut rate and finish. Available in 1 mic grit in discs, sheets and rolls and a range of grades.
